The first HPC charger in Bad Salzuflen: eTower 200 from Compleo

In order to promote sustainable mobility in Germany’s well-known spa resort Bad Salzuflen and meet the increasing demand for electric vehicle charging infrastructure, energy provider Stadtwerke Bad Salzuflen has installed the eTower 200 high-performance charger from Compleo.

The eTower 200 offers parallel charging with a total output of up to 200 kW at two fast charging points and complements the existing charging network in the urban area. The decisive factor in the choice of this model was the unique installation concept of the eTower on a very small footprint, which precisely matched the location requirements in the centre of Bad Salzuflen. The convenient installation using the WireHub of Compleo and the easy maintenance via generous front access were also convincing factors.

Strategically located between a supermarket, a hotel and the municipal library, the first high-power charger in Bad Salzuflen offers both tourists and residents a convenient way to charge their vehicles quickly. With more than 750,000 overnight stays per year, Bad Salzuflen is one of the most important spas in Germany. The modern charging infrastructure helps to maintain a high tourism standard and make a stay in the town even more attractive.

Simple and flexible charging and payment for everyone

The city's high visitor frequency requires intuitive and flexible use of the charging infrastructure. The eTower 200 fulfils these requirements with activation options via RFID reader and a credit card terminal with PIN pad for direct payment. This makes it easy to start and pay for charging processes even without prior registration - a real added value for all user groups.

With the installation of the Compleo eTower 200, Stadtwerke Bad Salzuflen is providing an important impetus for sustainable mobility and offering a powerful solution for the electromobility of the future.
