Efficient charging for the fleet's needs
Leipziger Stadtwerke is supporting the electrification of fleets with a new company charging park at Leipziger Wasserwerke's Probstheida water supply facility: The new charging park in the south-east of the trade fair city deliberately combines high-power charging and normal charging to meet the needs of Leipziger Wasserwerke's vehicle fleet.
The eTower 200 from Compleo, which offers two charging points with a total of up to 200 kW and thus enables fast charging for short stops, is at the centre of the charging location. The offer is complemented by ten DUO fleet stations, which provide a total of 20 charging points for normal charging and are ideal for longer parking times for fleet vehicles - for example overnight.

Load management for optimal energy distribution
An outstanding feature of the Compleo technology is the onboard load management, which balances both AC and DC charging processes in one system - without additional software or external control. Leipziger Stadtwerke was able to configure the load distribution directly via the Compleo tool DUCTO during commissioning. The waterworks' fleet benefits permanently by allocating the maximum available charging power to all vehicles without overloading the grid connection.

Space-saving and cost-efficient installation
Another advantage of the Compleo solution is the well thought-out installation, which brought benefits for Leipziger Stadtwerke. The eTower 200 does not require any additional open space for maintenance, which means that more parking spaces are retained. The DUO fleet stations were efficiently integrated with just three connection lines. Thanks to the Power Rail technology, series cabling was possible, which significantly reduced both material costs and installation work. In addition, the company charging park can be flexibly expanded so that any future requirements can be easily taken into account.
